Christmas 2006

Christmas was very hectic as usual, but it was so worth all the caos just to see the children filled with excitement. It seems the small things are the things they loved the best.

Jake is glued to his backpack! He got 4 Tonka trucks, but the one thing he is constantly wanting is his backpack. You should see him model it to! He does that little runway walk, pivots, and models that little backpack like a pro! He also loves playing with his TMX Elmo.

Of course Rhyne is happily playing with all the baby dolls she got this year. I don't think she has a favorite yet. The one thing that Santa did bring was a doll cradle that was mine when I was a little girl. Santa actually sanded it all the way down, re-painted it, covered the mattress and added a few bows. Granny was sweet enough help Santa out by making a sweet blanket for the crib.

This is a picture of Rhyne and Jake right after we made cookies on Christmas Eve for Santa.

Hope everyone got what they wished for and that 2007 will be a wonderful year for everyone!!

Wow--Santa did a lot of work on that cradle! I bet it was completely worth it. And so nice of Granny Elf to pitch in!
